Configure Permissions:

Configure the following features:

  • Food Diary Access: Select Yes or No for "Client can access food diary to add their meals". If you select Yes, a secondary toggle will appear: "Client can see micronutrients in meal plans" (which you can also toggle to set to Yes or No).
  • If you select No for "Client can access food diary to add their meals", the client will not be able to access the Diary tab within the Health Records sidebar menu. This prevents them from uploading their food diaries or view their automated AI analysis.

  • Activity Data: Select Yes or No for "Client can see activity data".
  • If you select Yes for "Client can see activity data", the client will be able to access the wearables Activity tab within their Health Records to view charts and graphs for their general data or information collected from connected devices, including: Steps, Workouts, Burn Rate, and Sleep

Tip: Disabling access to micronutrient visibility or activity data can be highly beneficial for clients dealing with eating disorders, helping to reduce tracking anxiety.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Why would I hide micronutrients or activity data from a client?
For clients recovering from eating disorders or managing high anxiety around numbers, hiding granular data (such as micronutrients or exact steps/sleep hours) helps shift the clinical focus away from obsessive tracking and towards intuitive health habits.
How does a client upload food diaries for AI analysis?
Once you grant food diary access in the Client Settings menu, the client will see a Diary tab in their app's Health Records sidebar, where they can upload meal photos and view automated AI nutritional insights.
Can I change these app permissions at any point during a client's programme?
Absolutely. You can modify these toggles at any time. Any changes you save will instantly update the features, tabs, and data visible to the client inside their Nurish Life app.
Troubleshooting & Common Issues
Issue: The "Client Settings" or "Message" buttons are greyed out / unclickable.
Potential Solution: These buttons remain deactivated for clients with an 'Added' or 'Invited' status. They will automatically become available once the client accepts your invitation and becomes active.
Issue: Client cannot see the 'Diary' tab or upload meals in their app
Potential Solution: Ensure that "Client can access food diary to add their meals" is explicitly set to Yes in their Client Settings and that you have successfully saved your changes.
